Digital Services Act
Digital Services Act is eU regulation covering online platforms, including a ban on advertising targeted to minors using profiling.
What it changed
Behavioural advertising to minors is prohibited on platforms in scope, and very large platforms carry additional risk-assessment duties.
It is the strictest of the major regimes on advertising, and it applies by likelihood that minors use a service rather than by declared age.
