Homework Completion Analyser
Non-completion by day and subject, which usually turns out to have a logistical cause rather than a motivational one.
An 82% completion rate with 22 of 60 non-completions falling on one weekday points at the deadline rather than at motivation — and 63% concentrated in repeat pupils means a class-wide sanction misses them entirely.

Frequently asked
Why does the deadline day matter?
Because a Monday deadline means the work happens at the weekend, which is not equally available across households. Moving a deadline is the cheapest intervention available and it is rarely tried.
Should there be a sanction for non-completion?
Where non-completion is concentrated in a few pupils, a class-wide sanction misses them and costs goodwill with everyone else. Finding out why for those individuals is more effective and usually reveals something practical.
Does homework work?
The evidence is age-dependent: modest positive effects for secondary-age pupils and much weaker evidence at primary age. That is a prior question worth asking before optimising completion rates.
